I cycle through a lot of skincare products and always love trying new items to review for you all. So it’s no shocker that Neutrogena® is a holy grail brand of mine. I’ve been using staples like the Neutrogena® makeup removing wipes for over a decade, so I leaped at the opportunity to review the brand’s Soothing Clear product line.
To understand my love of skincare, let me take you on a ride through memory lane. Growing up, I remember feeling embarrassed about my breakouts. As a 13-year-old, I would load up on harsh products and strip the oils on my face dry, which was counter-intuitive for my sensitive skin. I have dealt with redness and inflammation my whole life. In high school, I started to take more of an interest in beauty products, but it wasn’t until college when I became an absolute skincare fan. The difference between teenage Jillian and present Jillian is all in the product. I was pleasantly surprised by how hydrated and calm my skin felt. I know some people only cleanse once a day, but I love the feeling of refreshing my skin in the morning and getting my makeup off in the evening. Neutrogena® Soothing Clear Turmeric Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer
I wish I could tell my teenage self to moisturize every day! At 30, moisturizing has become my favorite step in my skincare routine. The moisturizer has a smooth, jelly-like consistency and is completely oil-free. It goes on very easily and absorbs into my skin quickly. I like this Neutrogena®moisturizer because it doesn’t leave any residue or result in an oily look. I am able to wear this moisturizer without any makeup throughout the day. It’s light and breathable. My makeup also goes on great over this moisturizer, making it perfect for everyday use.
Neutrogena® Soothing Clear Turmeric Clear Mist
I live for a great facial mist! If you don’t have this step in your skincare routine, it’s time to change things up. Neutrogena®’s ultra-fine mist is sulfate-free, oil-free, and non-comedogenic. It also won’t clog your pores or leave behind a sticky residue. You can use this product before or after the moisturizer. I love to use this mist right before putting on my makeup for the day, and I like to carry it with me, in case I want to refresh on the go. The hydrating mist is calming and refreshing, making it a must-have in my beauty routine.

With many states still following stay-at-home orders, shopping online at Walmart made restocking my skincare cabinet simple. I found checkout to be a breeze, and it made me feel safe having the ability to shop from home. Skincare is my pick-me-up, so keeping my routine at home has been important to me during this time.
