West Elm Dadeland + Kate Spade Saturday

Believe it or not, before a few weeks ago I had never been to West Elm. Now that my home is covered in fresh new succulents and a new West Elm duvet, I can vouch for my new obsession. I recently attended a blogger brunch at West Elm Dadeland for the special launch of the Kate Spade Saturday collection. The collection is ultra-vibrant and bright, exuding the many layers of the Saturday brand. Distinctively known for its signature use of yellow, Kate Spade Saturday is filled with primary colors that standout in any home environment. The brand’s take on modern florals, somewhat of a fauvist display of flowers, is my favorite print in the collection.

The day began with sweet treats, Onli beverages, complimentary goodies and an Instagram contest. It ended with even sweeter friendships. There’s something special about getting a group of creatives together in the same room. From business owners to interior designers, the brunch crowd was filled with inspiring.

Saturday brings so many good feelings and wonderful things. It means staying in bed that extra hour without the alarm on; stopping by the record store to browse through the new bins; waking up in my boyfriend’s Houston apartment on a weekend visit; reading and sipping a cup of tea; playing on the floor with my beautiful nephews; opening a bottle of wine and finding my next Netflix obsession; dinners among friends with views of the Miami skyline — so many great things.

So tell me, what does Saturday mean to you?
