{The Look} Target Skirt, Steve Madden Wynston pumps, Forever 21 shirt + glasses, OPI ‘She Sings in Color’ polish, vintage Solina gold clutch, and a gifted necklace.

Fall is official in session. Let me tell you all about how ready we are in the Sunshine State… or not. Miami may not have crisp and colored leaves to write home about, but who’s to say we can’t welcome the season like anyone else? My 9-to-5ish (let’s be honest, who ever stops working at 5 p.m. these days?) outfit incorporated a few key fall trends without ditching South Florida comfort.

Sheer:  Fall 2014 runways, from the likes of Michael Kors, Fendi, and Donna Karan, incorporated chic black sheers. My favorite part about this top is the beaded detail. A bold statement necklace peeked out from under the collar, becoming the focal point of the entire look. Sheer fabric that has been relevant in past seasons, was spotted on the Spring/Summer 2015 runways, and will continue to trend for collections to come. This shirt is a classic statement I love to play dress up in.

Woven + Neon: In need of tweed? I found this Mossimo skirt at Target on a major sale. Heavy knits are a fall staple. Do you recall hints of neon on the Fall/Winter BCBGMAXAZRIA runway? The glittering strands of gold and guess what… green neon are woven into the fabric to make an excellent and unique piece. The Solina bag and gold statement necklace was my way of tying the look together.

Statements that Sparkle: The wondrous Marni runway show was a prime example of how to wear a statement necklace. I personally love to pair these with a buttoned up top, especially denim. If you’re looking to add a little dazzle to your dresser, BaubleBar is my favorite source for sparkle. Do yourself a favor and sign up for the e-newsletter filled with amazing discounts (and tempting must-have offers… like you NEED another monogram necklace) Here are a few items that would look great for fall.
