Sephora Spring Bonus Sale: My Cruelty-Free Beauty Favorites

Cruelty-Free Beauty Products

Who can resist a sale from Sephora? Not this gal. Sephora’s Spring Bonus Sale is happening now until Monday! Depending on your Sephora Rewards status, you can take advantage of a 10-15% discount on your purchase. It’s RARE to find luxury and premium beauty brands at a discount, so this is one of my favorite sales of the year. Here’s how it works: if you’re a Sephora Insider you can get up to 10% off with the code YAYINSIDER (if you’re not signed up, get on the list here). Even better, if you’re a VIB Insider or VIB Rouge Insider you get 15% off! Use codes YAYVIB for 15% off if you’re a VIB Beauty Insider and YAYRouge if you’re a Rouge Insider.

In honor of the sale, I wanted to share 10 of my favorite cruelty-free beauty products available at Sephora. I strive to only shop from cruelty-free brands since animals and sustainability are both really important to me. If you’re interested in finding out whether your makeup is from a company that practices cruelty-free standards, look on your packaging for the little bunny logo OR check out this really helpful list I found online.  Cruelty-Free Beauty Brands on Cup of Charisma

ONE – Urban Decay Vice Lipstick

Urban Decay is a favorite cruelty-free brand of mine for countless reasons. I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments and direct messages I’ve received while wearing the shade “Backtalk,” a matte mauve-nude lipstick that Urban Decay sent me in the mail last month. The lipstick is simple, stays on for a long period (I wore mine for about 10 hours with no noticeable smudging), and comes in a deep but neutral shade. My boyfriend even complimented me on the color, which never happens. This is definitely a permanent staple in my makeup bag.

TWO – Josie Maran Moonstone Drops for Priming and Highlighting

These drops are EVERYTHING. Honestly, if you’re passionate about the environment and animals than Josie Maran should be the top brand on your list. The iridescent drops offer a holographic glow that highlights, primes, hydrates, and smooths. The Argan nutrients nourish and treat the skin while multicolored coated priming pearls illuminate your look. I honestly felt a little bit like Zenon (Girl of the 21st Century) when I first tried the drops but once you learn to use the pearls in moderation the glow is healthy and beautiful.

THREE – Josie Maran Plumping Butter

See #2. Josie Maran wins again. I also really enjoy this product because it’s nourishing and I can FEEL it working since it packs a slight sting. I also see a noticeable difference in how full my lips look after using it. I have a tinted plumping butter, but it comes in clear and all colors.

FOUR – Naked Petite Heat Palette

Who doesn’t fangirl everytime Urban Decay releases a new Naked palette? I love these fiery hues and have had a lot of fun incorporating them into my evening looks.

FIVE – Tarte Highlighting Eyeshadow Palette

For a softer and more natural look, I really love this palette from Tarte. Tarte is another of those staple cruelty-free brands that have been leading that element of the industry since the beginning.

SIX – Too Faced Lip Injection

By far my favorite lip gloss.

SEVEN – Secret Sauce

GREAT moisturizer that has a multitude of anti-aging benefits.

EIGHT – Milk Lip + Cheek Butter

This lip and cheek color offers creamy color that can be layered on for a bolder look.

NINE – Kat Von D Eye Liner

Obviously, the Queen of the Cat Eye knows a thing or two about creating an awesome liner that goes on easily and stays put.

TEN – Beauty Express for Brows and Eyes

If you’re new to taking care of your brows, this kit is your gateway. It includes brow powder, shapes and anything to need to make your brows stay put and look full.

Of course, I also have some honorable mention items that deserve to be included. Browse through a few of my all-time favorites that missed the list here:
