Happy Sunday! I’m striving to share more photos of what I’m wearing and doing around town, so here’s an attempt! I typically love to make every post on this blog meaningful, and often lengthy, so I figured I’d start to mix in some simple style along the way. I wore this adorable rabbit dress to my friend Dawn’s (blogger at Dawn P. Darnell) birthday brunch at La Table in Houston’s Galleria area and wanted to share how I styled it.

Houston is in prime season for patio brunches and La Table was the perfect Parisian getaway. Minus some crazy winds (and bad hair days noted above), it was the perfect day spent with the perfect people! I’m grateful to have had the chance to connect with local friends and talking about life, family, and our many side hustles. La Table also had AMAZING vegetarian options and mimosas, so it was a weekend well spent. The scenic patio was lush with greenery and a colorful garden of flower beds, so I couldn’t pass on the chance to have Brandy (Authentically B) snag a few photos for an OOTD post.

Aside from my boyfriend who said I looked like a nun *eye roll*, the compliments over this sweet black and white collared dress kept coming. I heard everything from “Downton Abbey” to “Alice in Wonderland” when friends and strangers tried to peg down what it reminded them of. The little rabbits on the collar are my favorite touch, and the best part is that it comes in pink, too! I have had this purse for quite some time (similar version here), but feel the monochromatic palette, and architectural edges emulate the dresses’ contrasting color. I also love a pointy toed heel when life permits! I’m a little banged up from my skiing trip, but couldn’t resist stepping into these babies.

Perfect for a garden party and brunch, this little number was too good not to share! While Saturday was filled with friends and mimosas, this Sunday is filled with hustle (albeit, in my sweatpants at the mercy of my laptop). What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
