Happy Wedding Wednesday! Before you get excited and think there is a ring on my finger, I’m here to share much different (and equally exciting) news! You might recall me sharing the I Do Soiree from Weddings in Houston magazine last year, but I didn’t share that the soiree was only one piece of the nuptial puzzle. I’m honored to share with you that I was selected to be a Weddings in Houston influencer, sharing my tips and tricks for soon-to-be brides. While I may just pin about weddings without planning them, I’ve done extensive research on making a matrimony even more meaningful.
To relieve stress and add even more meaning to a beautiful day, add a dose of altruism at the altar. Socially conscious weddings are not the first thing that comes to mind when planning a day that’s all about you and the one you love, but introducing a cause to your ceremony is will make you and your guests feel an even deeper sense of compassion and connection. As crazy as it sounds, giving back is scientifically deemed the “giver’s glow.”
